Barbara Mifsud

Barbara Mifsud works at the Rotary International South Pacific and Philippines Office in Parramatta, Australia as the Regional Membership Officer for Zone 8. She supports clubs and districts in Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands with their membership initiatives. She provides advice on membership strategy such as club assessments, attraction, retention and engagement, new member orientation, new club development and diversity, equity and inclusion. She also assists with reports and data; membership resources available from Rotary; and collecting best practice and stories.

 

Barbara has worked for Rotary International for 10 years. She started as Coordinator - Club and District Support where she trained and supported club and district leaders using Rotary online resources, RI Board policy and constitutional documents, and administrative procedures. Barbara has over 20 years’ experience working with various not for profit organisations in volunteer management including a leading Australian blindness agency and refugee resettlement program. She has qualifications in communications and International studies. She volunteers her time with Toastmasters and Rotary, and has volunteered on various projects including literacy, architecture and film projects.
