Jenny Briese
Jenny was a mature aged ARH Indigenous Health Scholarship recipient in 2014-2016. She studied Social Work at University of Sunshine Coast. Jennie moved to Geelong in 2018 where she has worked as a Lecturer in social work at the Indigenous Unit (NIKERI) at Deakin University.
She will be moving back to Queensland in January to be close to her children and grandchildren.
She has secured a position at Queensland University of Technology, Kelvin Grove where she will be a lecturer and researcher. She is a very passionate Indigenous lady who wanting to make a change in areas of Indigenous disadvantage, alongside my lived experience of domestic violence, drug abuse and sexual assault led me to enrol in a social work degree with a minor in Indigenous studies.
