Mental Health For Anyone and Everyone Mental Health First Aid Training adopts a similar approach to physical

first aid. We equip you the skills and knowledge on how to recognise and respond to someone who might be experiencing Mental Health problems, including suicide, across a range of different situations.

Using a practical skill-based action plan, participants learn how to have the conversation and have the confidence and knowledge to offer early intervention, appropriate support and assistance, until appropriate professional help is received, or the crisis resolves.

Participants who successfully complete the training are known as MHFAiders. MHFAiders also play a vital role in reducing stigma and promoting pathways to support those with Mental Health problems in our workplaces, communities, schools, and tertiary institutions.

This course is being conducted by Sharon form First Step Mental Wellness. Sharon is an accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

The event is being organised jointly by the Rotary Clubs of Romsey-Lancefield and Sunbury.
